    This is a typical short and fresh pasta made from durum wheat semolina. This type of pasta tends to curl during the cooking phase. Hence the origin of its name, which has often being subject of several historical interpretations: "Strozzapreti" are also known as "Strangolapreti".

    They prefer very dense sauces with tomato. There are also different variations with sausage and mushroom sauces. Are packaged in a 500 gram bag, their taste is very delicate and are resistant to cooking, which is about 5 minutes and a half.
