Tortelloni are stuffed egg pasta typical of northern Italy. It is a ring-shaped pasta (the same shape as tortellini, but larger) with a diameter of about 5 cm. Basic ingredients of the dough are durum wheat semolina, pasteurized eggs and water while the main ingredients of the filling are cured ham, sausage, potato flakes, flavorings, dehydrated vegetables ground in varying proportions, carrot, onion, garlic, nutmeg, rosemary, pepper, sage, bay leaf, basil and marjoram.
Their delicate taste with a delicious ham flavor, tortelloni are packaged in 500 grams envelope and must be cooked for about 5-6 minutes thanks to their resistance to the cooking.
